The Heart Behind This Space

Hello all, if you’re reading this it’s for one of two reasons. You’re either here because you know me personally and well, curiosity did kill the cat or it’s because you’ve read one of my blogs and/or my books. Content creation is something I’ve tossed around for the better part of two years but honestly, it scares me clean out of my socks. I have always said and strongly believed social media is the root of evil, it is a cesspool for people to hate on one another because it’s easy hidden behind a device. But then I thought, isn’t that exactly why I should be doing content? I want to add good in the world, be the difference that I want to see. Social media has given people the ability to connect with others they ordinarily wouldn’t have. Someone in Colorado can be struggling with isolation, feeling suicidal and find hope in content from someone in North Carolina. My husband and I both have stories worth telling, ways we’ve survived, healed, and found happiness following enough trauma to wipe out mankind. It won’t all be revealed today, tomorrow, the next day, week, month, heck even year. But it’s time so thank you for joining me on this journey.
